New Approvals by Company:
Agrii
- has a new propyzamide product called P400 (M21770) which has identical label recommendations to Kerb Flo but which comes from Barclay Chemicals.
Agrovista
- has added winter wheat and winter barley to the label of its aclonifen product Profi Aclo SC600.
- Agrovista also now has its own approval for propaquizafop in a product called Profi Sliga (M21820) that mirrors Shotgun from Adama.
Corteva
- has duplicated its winter oilseed rape herbicide LaDiva (aminopyralid + halauxifen-methyl + picloram) under the new name of Mozzar AP and it has been added to the database as PAR.
Fargro
- has a new, more concentrated formulation (3%) of Metarhizium anisopliae for insect pest control in berry fruit, ornamental plant production and nursery fruit trees. It is only approved in GB and is probably active against vine weevil but a label has not yet been received and it is listed as PAR.
FMC Agro
- has duplicated its Counter SX (thifensulfuron-methyl + tribenuron-methyl) with a new name and MAPP No – Counteract SX (M21766) which is listed as a full entry since it is a replacement product. Counter SX remains as a full product during the use-up period.
- Also new for FMC is a new mixture of difenoconazole + prothioconazole approved for use in rye, triticale, wheat and winter oilseed rape. It is called Divapan (M21575) and is currently listed as PAR until intention to market is confirmed.
Globachem
- has gained approval for a more concentrated formulation of their metconazole called Artina 270. Thus it is three times more concentrated than Artina 90 and it used at one third rate but it loses peas, beans and lupins from the label.
Life Scientific
- has gained approval for a Broadway Star mimic called LS Flora-Pyrox-Cloq (M21645, florasulam + pyrosulam) and it is currently listed as PAR until intention to market is confirmed.
Sharda
- has a Variano Xpro mimic in Fabric (M21486) which contains bixafen, fluoxastrobin and prothioconazole for disease control in triticale, wheat and winter rye. It is currently listed as PAR in UKPG until marketing is confirmed.
- Sharda also has a Variano Duo mimic in Proficus (M21818, fluoxastrobin + prothioconazole) which is also currently listed as PAR.
UPL Europe
- UPL Europe sells Vacciplant (M13260, laminarin) and a new approval of this product has been issued to a new supplier, Laboratoires Goemar S.A.S. The approval of the original has been reduced to 31/12/2027 but the new approval for M21612 last until 31/8/2035 so it is likely that UPL will switch to the new approval some time next year.
YC Agro
- has a new folpet product for use in GB only called Oniri (M21782) which mimics the other folpet products and is listed as PAR. The company has also added spring wheat and spring barley to the label of its diflufenican + flufenacet product Euterpe (M20618) for use in GB only.
- YC Agro also has a new Defy mimic in Terpsich (M21717, 800 g/l prosulfocarb).
EAMUs added:
- Captan (M16293, captan) has 3 new EAMUs allowing treatment of foliar disease in quince, hops in propagation, nursery fruit trees and ornamental plant production where it is active against botrytis, downy mildew, scab and shot hole. There are separate EAMU numbers for use in GB and NI but use in NI expires 15/5/2027 while GB use extends to 31/1/2032.
- Goltix 70 SC (M16638, metamitron) has an EAMU allowing treatment celeriac, horseradish and outdoor and protected crops of parsnips, swedes and turnips.
- Insyst SG has 3 new EAMUs. Two allow treatment of aphids in broad beans, French, runner beans, dwarf beans,peas and in mustard valid until 2035 and there is an emergency approval for use in sugar beet valid until 1/8/2026.
- Mainman (M20214, flonicamid) has an EAMU allowing treatment of aphids in damson and plum crops.
- Microthiol Special (M20705, sulphur) now has an EAMU allowing treatment of broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, calabrese, cauliflowers, choi sum, collards, kale and kohl rabi for control of powdery mildew.
- Movento (M18435, spirotetramat) whilst only approved for use in GB it now has two emergency EAMUs allowing treatment of broccoli, calabrese, Brussels sprouts, cabbages, cauliflowers, collard, Kale, outdoor baby leaf crops and lettuce for aphid control in Northern Ireland! Since it is not approved there it must be on special order since distributors would not normally stock it and the EAMUs expire 31/10/2026.
- Soratel (M19636, prothioconazole) has an EAMU allowing it to be used as a dip treatment on bulbs before planting to control fusarium infections in the subsequent growth.
- Vivid 200 (M21069, pyraclostrobin) has an EAMU allowing treatment of foliar diseases in nursery fruit trees and ornamental plant production.
Changes to approval expiry dates: CRD has extended the approvals of a number of products and actives, most of which are detailed below.
- 1-4, dimethylnaphthalene: The approval of 1,4Sight from Dormfresh has been extended to 31/5/2030.
- Amidosulfuron: The approval of Eagle, squire Ultra, Amy, Acme and Proclava XL has been extended to 31/5/2029.
- Amisulbrom + mandipropamid: The approval of Evagio Plus (M20756) has been extended to 15/3/2029.
- Cymoxanil + propamocarb: The approval of Axidor and similar products has been extended to 15/2/2029.
- Dicamba + nicosulfuron + rimsulfuron: The approval of Principle Forte (M20797) has been extended to 30/9/2029.
- Florasulam + fluroxypyr + pinoxaden: The approval of Timeline FX (M21228) has been extended to 15/8/2029.
- Flutolanil: The approvals of Rhino DS, Monocut DS, Monocut DSG, Monocut Max and NNF-136 have been extended to 15/12/2029
- Fludioxonil: Calyptra has been extended to 18/3/2029 and Tresco has been extended to 20/8/2028.
- Fludioxonil + tebuconazole +/- difenoconazole: The approvals of Fountain and Celest Trio have been extended to 15/2/2029.
- Fluoxastrobin +/- prothioconazole: The approval of Sublime (Fluoxastrobin + prothioconazole) and other similar products has been extended to 31/7/2029.
- Fluxapyroxad: The approvals of LS Fluxapyroxad and LS Fluxa 59.4 have been extended to 30/4/2030.
- Fosetyl-aluminium + propamocarb hydrochloride: The approavls of Avatar, Previcur Energy and Precision have been extended to 30/4/2029.
- Haloxyfen-methyl + pyroxsulam +/- florasulam: The approval of Manhatten and Memphis has been extended to 31/3/2030.
- Imazalil +/- ipconazole: The approval of Conima (M19834), Rancona 15 ME (M19629) and Rancona I-Mix (M19847) has been extended to 30/6/2030. They are only approved for use in GB.
- Metrafenone: The approval of products containing metrafenone continues in NI until 9/9/2099 but is extended in GB to 31/10/2031. Examples are Attenzo, Flexity, Revyflex and Vivando.
- Metsulfuron-methyl + tribenuron: The approval of Ally Max SX has been extended to 28/2/2029.
- Orange oil: The approval of Sinala Ultra (M21137) from UPL Europe has been extended to 31/3/2028.
- Prohexadione-calcium + trinexepac-ethyl: The approval of Medax Max has been extended to 31/10/2031.
- Pirimiphos-methyl: The approval of Actellic 50 EC and Phobi Smoke Pro90 has been extended by 2 years to 31/7/2029.
- Prothioconazole: The approval of most prothioconazole products has been extended to 30/9/2029.
- Prothioconazole + spiroxamine: The approval of Clayton Tendril and other similar products with this mix of active has been extended to 30/9/2029.
- Prothioconazole + tebuconazole: The approval of Redigo Pro and 38 other products containing this mix of active has been extended by 1 year to 15/2/2029.
- Rimsulfuron: The approval of Claudius, Clayton Dundee and Rest join Titus with their approval extended by 3 years to 15/2/2031.
- Sulphur: The approval of sulphur products has been extended to 31/1/2030.
- Sulfosulfuron: The approval of Monitor (M18887) has been issued a withdrawal notice and the expiry date amended from 9/9/2099 to 31/12/2027.
- Trinexepac-ethyl: The approval of Moddus and 12 other products containing trinexepac have been extended to 31/10/2031.
