The text for the 2026 edition of UKPG is currently at the proof stage and, because the text is generated from the on-line UKPG database, changes and additions to the database have been kept to a minimum while the proof is finalised (Click here to Pre-Order your hard copy). Thus, only a few new EAMUs and product approvals are listed here this month but as soon as the proof is finalised all the latest approvals and EAMUs will be added so watch for a bumper edition after Christmas!
New Approvals:
- Bayer has added post-emergence use to the Proclus and Bandur labels (M 19387 & 19679, aclonifen) when treating winter barley or winter wheat. As an alternative to 1.4 l/ha pre-em growers can now apply 1.0 l/ha pre-em followed by a further 0.4 l/ha post-em before the 4 leaf stage.
- Life Scientific has a Siltra Xpro mimic in Carline (M21462, bixafen + prothioconazole) and a Boogie Xpro mimic in Elvon (M21465) which are approved for use in GB only and which have been added to the database as PARs.
- Life Scientific has also just gained approval for a Wolverine mimic in Affilex (M21458, fluxapyroxad + metconazole) for use in both GB and NI for disease control in wheat, barley, rye, triticale and durum wheat.
- Gemini has a new 60 g/l metconazole product called Clobber (M21445) which mimics other 60 g/l metconazole formulations and a Ranman Top mimic in Namnar (M21470, cyazofamid) with both approved for use in GB only.
- Hygeia Chemicals has a new straight 500 g/l 2,4-D product which is called Mortox (M21447).

EAMUs added:
- Dipell DF (M18874, Bacillus thuriengensis kurstaki) now runs until 31/10/2031 but expires 15/2/2027 in NI and so CRD have re-issued all 15 EAMUs for this product with different numbers for GB and NI to reflect the different expiry dates.
