Many companies have recently been duplicating their products with new MAPP numbers. This could perhaps be due to minor changes in the formulation that have been shown to not affect the activity of the product but there are usually no changes to the label claims. These duplications are included in the list of New Approvals and Changes to expiry dates below.

New Approvals:
- BASF has gained a post-harvest use of Signum (M11450, boscalid + pyraclostrobin) at 1.5 kg/ha presumably to restrict the development of grey mould in store. No latest time of application is specified for this use so presumably the 3 day ‘harvest’ interval still applies.
- Sharda has gained approval for a Propel Xpro mimic called Bhima (M21378, bixafen + prothioconazole + spiroxamine) but while Propel Xpro is approved for use on barley and oats, Bhima is approved for use on wheat, triticale and winter rye! They have also gained two new approvals for their straight pyraclostrobin product Flourish which is now also called Florix (M21419) and Sporite (M21404). Also new to Sharda are Siltra Xpro mimics called Sylvo and Uniflex (M21409 & 21410, bixafen + prothioconazole).
- Barclay has a Helix mimic in Bolt Neo (M21426, prothioconazole + spiroxamine) that is approved for use in GB only on wheat, triticale, oats, barley, rye and durum wheat.
- FMC has supplemented their approval of Fundatis (M21338, beflubutamid and bixlozone) with approval of two new identical products – X8QX5 (M21401) and Zimeri (M21402). Like Fundatis, these two new products are only approved for use in GB and are not approved in NI. FMC has also duplicated its Rosan product (M18778, dicamba + prosulfuron) with a new MAPP No (M21398) and the former now expires 28/2/2027 while the new approval runs until 15/12/2028.
- Clayton has a new name and MAPP No for their clethodim product which is now also approved as Clayton Propose (M21431).
- Life Scientific has duplicated its Murcia & Niantic products (M21142 & 18217, iodosulfuron-me + mesosulfuron-me) under the same names but with a new MAPP Nos (M21424 & 21437) and the originals now expire 31/3/2027 while the new approvals run until 30/9/2034.
- Almandine is a new supplier based in Switzerland that has a 250 g/l difenoconazole product approved that matched the crops found on the Plover and Slick products from Syngenta with the exception of oilseed rape. Approval extends until 30/6/2031 but only in GB and this is currently their only approval.
- Sipcam has duplicated its acetic acid product OWK with a catchy new name – Total 240 Hard Surface Weed and Moss Killer (M21400, acetic acid).
- Industrias Afrasa has duplicated its straight tribenuron product Trailer with a new MAPP No (M21406) which is approved until 30/7/2036 but the old MAPP No (M17903) now expires 31/3/2027.
- Gemini has a new straight metamitron product in Balor (M21418, 700 g/l metamitron as an SC).
- Adama has added sugar beet and fodder beet to the label of its new fungicide mixture Maganiv (M21029, difenoconazole + prothioconazole) which is approved for use in GB only.
- Gemini has a Shirlan mimic in Buckshot (M21439, fluazinam) which has ben listed as PAR.
- Certis Belchim has duplicated its Prepper product (M19466, fludioxonil) with a new MAPP No – M21416) and the approval of both products now runs until 31/3/2029.
- Nichino has complemented its Monocut DS (M20600, flutolanil) seed treatment for potatoes with a flowable formulation – Monocut Max (M21480).
EAMUs added:
- Thiopron (M21671, sulphur) has an EAMU allowing treatment of powdery mildew in combining, edible-podded and vining peas.
- Tucana (M21067, pyraclostrobin) has two EAMUs allowing control of rusts, Septoria and powdery mildew in rye, triticale and grassland seed crops.
- Vintec (M20311, Trichoderma astrovitide strain SC1) has two EAMUs allowing treatment of protected and outdoor forest nursery plants and ornamentals against a range of diseases such as phoma, botrytis, Blossom wilt, canker and leaf blight.
- Gribuzz (M19661, metribuzin) from Origin has two EAMUs allowing treatment of asparagus, carrots, parsnip and mallow for annual and perennial weeds in GB only.
- Coragen (M19498, chlorantraniliprole) has two new EAMUs allowing treatment of caterpillars and tomato leaf miner in courgettes, cucumbers, chillis, gerkins and peppers under permanent protection with full enclosure.
- Botector (M20000, Aureobasidium pullulans strain DSM 14940 and 14941) has 9 new EAMUs allowing treatment of botrytis and grey mould in a wide range of cucurbits, berries and rhubarb.
- Goltix 70 SC (M21301, metamitron) has an EAMU allowing control of annual meadowgrass, docks and a range of annual dicotyledons in protected and outdoor strawberries.
- Luna Sensation (M20716, fluopyram + trifloxystrobin) has 2 new EAMUs allowing treatment of botrytis, powdery mildew and sclerotinia in protected crops of baby leaf crops, lambs lettuce, land cress, purslane, rocket and red mustard.
- Bucaneer and Varsity (M20413 & M20412, clethodim) have EAMUs allowing treatment of grass weeds in broad beans, runner beans, dwarf French beans, vining peas and edible-podded peas.
- SL 567A (M20652, metalaxyl-M) has an EAMU allowing treatment of white blister in horseradish.
Changes to approval expiry dates: CRD has extended the approvals of a number of products and actives, most of which are detailed below.
- The approvals of picolinafen products from BASF such as Vixen and AC 900001 have been duplicated with new MAPP Nos (M21412 & 21413) and the expiry date of the new approvals is now 30/12/2033 while the old approvals now expire 31/3/2027. These two products are the only approvals of straight picolinafen and are listed as PARs. Available products containing picolinafen are all mixtures.
- The approval of Timeline FX in GB (M21228, florasulam + fluroxypyr + pinoxaden) has been reduced to 31/12/2028.
- The approval of Afinto and Hinode (M19622 & M19135, flonicamid) has been extended to 25/9/2027.
- The approval of Cleancrop Transit (M16684, chlormequat) has been extended to 31/8/2029.
- The approval of all straight phenmedipham products such as Betanal Flo has been extended to 31/3/2029.
- The approval of flonicamid products Kibera, Valmeri and Alakazam has been extended to 25/9/2027.
- The approval of products containing pyrimethanil such as Scala etc. has been extended to 31/12/2028.
- The approval of Comet 200 (M20831, pyraclostrobin) has been extended to 15/3/2029.
- The approval of Diopyr and Property 180 SC (M20129 & 20190, pyriofenone) has been extended to 31/12/2029.
Withdrawals:
- Clayton Trinket (M19394, trinexepac-ethyl) has been withdrawn with immediate effect and is no longer listed on the CRD web site.
