Joint Expert Review 2025

The Joint Expert Review takes place on 27 November 2025 at Rothamsted Conference Centre, Harpenden.

Farming practices are having to balance the numerous pressures of food production, climate change, government policy and the environment while also managing a sustainable and profitable business.
These pressures impact how weeds, diseases and pests are managed – with a clear drive to reduce traditional chemical intervention in favour of changes to cultivation methods and biocontrol options.
This year’s Weeds Review, Diseases Review, and Pests & Beneficials Review have joined forces to organise a Joint Review that will look at many of the practices and new technologies that are available and how they might help deliver a healthy and profitable food production sector.
To accommodate the broader coverage of this year’s Review, we have moved venues to Rothamsted Auditorium. While this will increase the capacity for delegate numbers, attendance will still be on a first-come first-served basis so make sure you have this date in your diary.
Not only will you hear from industry experts and practitioners, BCPC Expert Reviews offer a great opportunity to network and this year’s joint event will undoubtedly add another dimension to the discussions.
