DAY TWO FOCUS: Join us for an unmissable second afternoon in Harrogate, where the focus shifts to PPPs usage and regulation with  senior representatives at Fera, Defra and HSE’s Chemicals Regulation Division.

The afternoon starts with Fera’s Tracey Chantry – a key member of the Pesticide Usage Survey Team – who will share survey results which chart the changes spanning over 60 years.

Defra’s Deputy Director Helena Busby will then pick up on changes being driven by the UK Pesticides National Action Plan to minimise risks associated with pesticide use and promote Intergrated Pest Management.

The conference will then hear from the head of CRD, Matthew Penrose, to provide an update on the latest position in pesticide regulation and approvals.

After a short break Chris Hartfield, NFU Senior Regulatory Affairs Adviser will then chair a debate with the guest speakers and offer a Q&A opportunity for the delegates.
