News Releases The e-Pesticide Manual Keeps Up-to-date 18 November 2002 The latest version of The e-Pesticide Manual, version 2.2, is now available from BCPC. This updated and fully searchable CD contains all the information from The Pesticide Manual (twelfth edition) plus an additional 19 new pesticide entries since version 2.1, of which 14 are new chemicals recently reported. Many existing entries have been updated and company name changes have also been incorporated throughout. As well as the information published in the book, the e-Pesticide Manual v 2.2 includes more than 5,000 current and 1,000 discontinued tradenames, fuller physicochemical details of more recently superseded substances and information on more than 400 companies. New hyperlinks have also been introduced. As well as manufacturers and tradename sellers, company names given in development codes are now linked to the Company Directory, and in the tradename fields users can jump between the entries for the ingredients of multi-company mixtures. In the Uses field, as well as species names, Latin Family names are highlighted and linked to the Glossary which now includes more information. More powerful features are available to allow export of information, and cross references are provided to the latest The BioPesticide Manual. Networked users can also export selected fields from search results into suitable formats for use in spreadsheets and other software.
