Alton-based publisher British Crop Production Council (BCPC) was delighted with the reception its latest educational books received from two royal visitors to its stand at this week's Royal Show in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire.

Managing Director of BCPC Chris Todd, presented both HRH The Countess of Wessex, president of the Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE) and HRH The Duke of Gloucester, with a set of BCPC's Beginners' Life Science Series. Mr Todd explained that there was a major gap in the educational publications market to satisfy the Key Stage 1 Curriculum for Science "Life Processes and Living Things".
