BCPC Congress Proceedings in print

News Releases

28th November 2005

This year's BCPC International Congress – Crop Science & Technology, took place in Glasgow, UK, from 31 October to 2 November 2005, and focussed on three key themes: crop protection; environment and regulation and crop production and the food chain.

The Congress opened with four plenary keynote lectures from Professor Sir John Marsh; Dr Chris Brown: Professor Dr David Coggon and Dr Bob Holm, which covered the key issues associated with the Congress themes. This was followed by the familiar plenary session unveiling new compounds, concepts and uses.

The main sessions comprised a series of invited and submitted platform papers and complementary poster presentations including the post-graduate student posters. All the papers presented are now available as printed Congress Proceedings in two volumes.

Copies of the BCPC International Congress Proceedings Vol 1 and 2 are now available priced £85, from
