The Brighton Conference

The Brighton Conference, organised by the BCPC, is now widely recognised as the leading international event for all those involved with the world wide crop protection industry. The thrust of the conference alternates each year between Weeds and Pests & Diseases.

The 1999 Conference will feature Weeds and will be held between 15-18 November 1999.

The 2000 Conference which will be held between 13-16 November 2000 will feature Pests & Diseases.

A World Event

Some 1,500 technical and research delegates, over half of whom come from overseas, register and attend the Conference sessions. In addition to this, there are at least an equal number of commercial and technical managers from around the world who use Brighton as a venue to conduct their own business, entertain clients and generally keep in touch with industry developments.

Add to this the Trade Services Exhibition which attracts up to 60 exhibitors and is open to all at Brighton and you start to understand why this Conference is such an important date in the world crop protection calendar. In addition, there is also the Scientific & Educational Exhibition.

The Venue

Brighton is situated on the south coast of the UK.
It is a popular location for national and international conferences due to the number of hotels and facilities available, as well as its good communication links - especially from central London. For overseas delegates, two international airports (London Heathrow and London Gatwick) are in close proximity.
