The utility of new compounds will be described by companies around the world. New approaches to herbicide discovery, including the use of genomics, will be presented. Herbicide action, application, metabolism, mechanisms of resistance and diagnostics form associated sessions.

Herbicide use in temperate and tropical crops [including genetically modified crops] will be contrasted with biological and organic weed control systems. Weed control themes also include complementary sessions on weed management via precision farming and decision support systems.
