It was another bright sunny day and the Conference begins with the Bawden Lecture   The BCPC medals were presented, the press briefed and the new Pesticide Manual launched,   as was a new Pest and Disease Handbook, and the Exhibitions get into full swing.   Meanwhile, the delegates start to find their way around.
