Registration options
IMPORTANT
Cut off date for online registrations has now passed. Delegates wishing to attend the event should register at the event.
No refunds are now being given for registration cancellations.
Congress registrations
To be able to attend this years' XVI International Plant Protection Congress you will need to register as a delegate.
Registered Congress delegates are entitled to:
- Attend any sessions of the Congress between 15 - 18 October
- A set of Congress abstract proceedings (except discount rate students)
- Access to the list of Congress delegates; available 6 weeks prior to the event
- Access to the BCPC Exhibition and Cyber Café
- Refreshments during the morning and afternoon break times
- An invitation to the Civic reception on 15 October

One year FREE IAPPS Membership is included automatically upon complete registration for the 2007 Congress.
Student Congress registrations
As part of BCPC's charitable activities students are being given the chance to attend at a discounted fee. This registration HAS to be supported by an official letter from the head of the course to confirm your student status.
Students who have Offered a Paper/Poster and had it accepted will have been notified.
Commercial Seminars
Register for the sponsored commercial seminars
Congress delegates as well as all visitors to Glasgow are invited to attend any, or all, of the sponsored commercial seminars.
Delegates can register for any of these seminars individually. Delegate registration to the main Congress does not include access to these sponsored commercial seminars.
Free Seminar Registration
The following seminars are free of charge:
- RCC Sponsored Seminar – "The Objective of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) in testing for regulatory compliance"
- Convance Sponsored Seminar - "Challenges in the conduct of regulatory environmental studies"
- IVCC – "The innovative vector control consortium – it’s objectives and role in supporting projects for control of insect vectors of disease"
Visa applications
If you require a visa to be able to attend and would like an invitation letter to help with your application, you must register to attend the Event and there may be an administration fee for the letter which will need to be paid before it is issued.
nb. We will be unable to guarantee delivery to applicants in time if requested after Monday 1st October 2007
