Glasgow International Airport

Prestwick International Airport has its own railway station, which is just 80 metres from the check-in desks and is connected to the airport by an enclosed skywalk. Trains operate every 30 minutes (hourly on a Sunday) to Glasgow Central Station: journey time is 44 minutes. Air travellers receive a 50% discount on the train fare.

Edinburgh International Airport

Although more than one hour from Glasgow by a combination of airport bus and train from Haymarket railway station (trains every 15 minutes), there may be a low-cost flight from an airport near you direct to Edinburgh.
