All those registering as a delegate for the BCPC Conference - Pests & Diseases 2002 will be entitled to:

      • attend all sessions of the Conference including the Marketing Forum
      • a set of the Conference Proceedings
      • access to a list of Conference delegates
      • all Conference documentation
      • access to the BCPC Exhibition and Cyber Café
      • tea and coffee during the morning and afternoon breaks
      • attend the Civic reception
 Fees
 
Delegates booking after 10 Sept 2002 £500.00
On site registrations or payments £550.00
Students* £75.00

*A limited number of places are available to students on relevant courses, or postgraduate researchers. Registration must be supported by a letter from the Head of Department. The fee does not include a set of Conference Proceedings. However, a voucher worth £25.00 is included which can be put towards their purchase from the BCPC Book Shop during the Conference.

All registration fees are inclusive of VAT @ 17.5%. Please note that the Value Added Tax (VAT) is quoted at the prevailing rate at the time of going to print.

 The Monday Symposium
 

Delegates wishing to attend "The Global Challenge - Sustainable Food Production" need to register on the Delegate Registration Form.

The registration fee is £70.00 and entitles the delegate to:

      • attend the Monday Symposium only
      • a copy of the Proceedings of the Monday Symposium

Delegates wishing to attend "Crop Protection under Licence" need to register on the Delegate Registration Form.

The registration fee is £70.00. Full Conference delegates are entitled to attend this event as part of their full delegate registration.

 Cancellation
 

If you must, for any reason, cancel your registration to the Conference you should notify the Conference Secretariat in writing by 14 October 2002. A full refund (minus £85 processing fee) will be issued. However no cancellations will be accepted, or refunds issued, after 14 October 2002. Substitutions are welcome at any time, but details must be given in writing.

 Limitation of Liability
 

Neither the British Crop Production Council (BCPC) nor the Event Organisation (Europe) Ltd (EO) can accept any liability for death, injury, any loss, cost or expense suffered or incurred by any person if such loss is caused or results from any act, default or omission of any person, other than an employee or agent of BCPC or EO. In particular, neither BCPC nor EO can accept any liability for losses arising from the provision or non-payment of services provided by hotel companies or transport operators.
Nor can BCPC or EO accept liability for losses suffered by reason of war including threat of war, riots and civil strife, terrorist activity, natural disaster, weather, fire, flood, drought, technical, mechanical or electrical breakdown within any premises visited by delegates in connection with the Conference, industrial disputes, government action, regulations or technical problems which may affect the services provided in connection with the Conference. Neither can BCPC nor EO is able to give any warranty that any particular person will appear as a speaker or panellist.

 Cancellation and Insurance
 

In the event that the Conference is cancelled by the British Crop Production Council (BCPC) or the Event Organisation (Europe) Ltd (EO), for any reason, or if, due to any factor outside the control of BCPC or EO, the Conference cannot take place, the amount of the Conference fee shall be refunded. The liability of BCPC and EO shall be limited to that refund, and neither shall be liable for any other loss, cost or expense, however caused, incurred or arising. In particular, neither BCPC nor EO shall be liable to refund any travel or hotel costs incurred by delegates.

Delegates are advised to take out comprehensive insurance.
